With enthousiasm I try to underline the expressiveness of special or cruious pieces of wood. If the wood quality is good, I shape the wood by turning or carving. Subsequently I combine these wood shapes with my ceramics.

It is of course possible combine with my ceramics special pieces of wood from your garden! Thus the objects are even more customised.

With this fabrication process I design usable objects, for example a cup, a bowl, but art object as well. With my designs and your pieces of wood, you will get a unique, valuable and full of memories. Daily these objects embody a souvenir.

These objects are remarcable and customized presents.

I fabricate clay plate with a roller.

I am dedicated to produce ceramics with fine walls. For the reason I do work with a standard thickness of clay plate of 2mm. For some designs I have worked with clay plate of thickness 1mm.

As the noisture becomes ideal, such clay plate can be bound - as a leather can be bound. This is the first step to fabricate a complexe design.

plaster mould

I fabricate my own plaster-moulds with models, I design myself. With a plaster mould one can fabricate ceramics: the standard process is the fellowing. A hollow part of the mould is filled with a solution of clay in water. After a waiting time the excess of the solution is poured out of the mould. A layer of clay remins on the inside walls of the mould. After drying time (15-30min), the object of clay shrinks and detaches for the mould. This mould can be used again in the same way, thereby a small series of identical objects with unique design can be implemented.
